Noor Rent a Bike – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the rental of scooters from Noor Rent a Bike (“Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) by any customer (“Renter,” “You,” or “Your”). By renting a scooter from us, you agree to the following:

1. Rental Eligibility

• The renter must be at least 18 years old.

• A valid driving license (appropriate for scooters/motorcycles in Sri Lanka) must be presented.

• A valid passport/ID copy must be provided for verification.

2. Rental Packages & Payments

• Daily Package: Starting LKR 3,000 per day.

• Weekly Package: Starting LKR 2,500 per day.

• Monthly Package: Starting LKR 2,000 per day.

• All rentals must be paid in advance via cash, Visa/MasterCard, or bank transfer.

• A security deposit (amount to be decided by the company) may be required. Refunds will be processed after scooter inspection upon return.

3. Vehicle Condition & Responsibility

• Scooters are provided in good working condition with a full tank of fuel.

• The renter must inspect and accept the scooter’s condition before use.

• Any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter.

• Major breakdowns will be covered by the company. We provide one-to-one replacement in such cases.

4. Usage Restrictions

• Scooters must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or off-road driving.

• Only the registered renter is permitted to ride the scooter. Sub-renting is strictly prohibited.

• Helmets must be worn at all times as per Sri Lankan law.

5. Insurance & Liability

• Scooters may be covered under basic insurance (if applicable). This does not cover reckless driving, intoxicated driving, or illegal use.

• The renter is liable for:

  • Traffic fines, parking tickets, or legal violations.

  • Damages beyond normal wear and tear.

6. Breakdowns & Accidents

• In case of a breakdown, notify Noor Rent a Bike immediately.

• In case of an accident:

  • Contact local authorities.

  • Inform the company within 2 hours.

  • Do not attempt unauthorized repairs.

7. Return Policy

• Scooters must be returned on the agreed date and time.

• Delays will incur extra charges per hour/day.

• The scooter must be returned with at least the same fuel level as at the time of handover.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations made 24 hours before pickup may receive a partial refund.

• No refund will be provided for early returns.

9. Indemnity

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Noor Rent a Bike from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of the renter’s use of the scooter.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
